Congratulations New Captains!

The Portage Fire Department would like to extend a personal and heart-felt CONGRATULATIONS to our newest Captains. There was pretty stiff competition all the way to the final round in the promotional process however in the end, two candidates stood at the top to earn the positions available.
Congratulations to Steve Tanner and Gary Bragg for their new promotions to the Captain position.
As well as these promotions, the department decided to temporarily promote an "acting" Captain to fill in for Captain Leve while he is out on leave. Clay Hollister was selected to fill this role as the next candidate ranked during the promotional process. In the case that Captain Leve was to leave, Clay would then be promoted to Captain.
Congratulations to Clay for a job well done during the selection process.
